Hello, just a huge vote of thanks, recieved the viewer/magnifier
today, on my Dads birthday, who it was for. One an excellent
product and second, fantastic service, so quick. Fantastic,
never seen him so happy. Now he can go and play with his
trains in the garage to his hearts content as he can now
see what he is doing close up!!
Again, many many thanks. Best wishes

You are correct. The item you showed is the charger in question
and, yes, the lead shown is what I need to replace. As to
the actual sizing I am at a loss as it is too difficult
to measure the centre pin accurately enough.Anyway, many
thanks for your help on this .."beyond the call of
duty" is the appropriate citation. It would be nice
(even miraculous) if all firms were so helpful. Regards

I will return the cable tomorrow and thank you very much

A quick note to say thank you for your superb service, re,
the signals that you supplied to special order for me, very
swiftly. (n gauge 3 colour with common anode connection).
These work with my controller perfectly and as they are
so dainty they look pretty good on my Z gauge layout. By
dropping them into the baseboard a little it reduces the
hieght and they are visually excellent. You may be interested
in offering a Z gauge version by shortening the pole and
using a Z gauge ladder (etched brass readily available commercially)
The head size is small enough. Thank you again and I will
certainly be recommending your services to my friends in
the model railway world.

Many thanks for e/mail reference to my handset, today i
returned the settinngs back to your initial settings (auto

think it still best to return same for a check on inertia
switch. Awaiting your reply and as to your products i think
they are the best, also i have always found your service
at all times first class.

Thanks for your comments. I appreciate the dialogue, without
this kind of thing nothing would happen!I haven't got DCC
as out house space is limited and so the trains are fitted
in walls (cut into the 1840 stud partitions) and they are
Z gauge and static decoders seems a bit complex, espec as
Remtrack as got all the inertia I can use, and I can't run
mutiple trains on my static block system.I hear what you
say about possible software, and thanks for the stats -
I was really interested in them.
On first impressions (I have glanced through the 72 page
manual) I think the Friewald software looks good and sorted.
You can run timetables so it should find and do auto-track
cleaning. It also seems to have interfaces to many other
systems. I'll give you details when I hook it all up - its
evenings and weekends for me. Regards

That will be absolutely fine. The wiring protocol for my
controller is the same, by coincidence, so I couldn't ask

this little problem. I will certainly recommend my many

Dear Remtrak, my appologies for this whole saga and my thanks
for your fast and efficient service in dealing with this
matter regards name removed `s optical visor, I told him
from day one either the batteries were not correct or he
had missed a switch somewhere, I havent seen the visor nor
is it likely I ever will, it was a gift to him for christmas,
but I should have known better, although this is the end
I hope of your dealings with him I sadly fear mine are just
starting, no doubt his next phone call will be to tell me
its too light/heavy, black/white,too powerfull/not powerfull
enough, like I said I should have known better, if I said
it was daytime he would insist its nightime, anyhow thank
you to the staff who have dealt with this matter and I can
only appologise for the inconvenience this has caused, may
I also say on his behalf thank you for checking out the
item, and for the enclosure of the correct batteries.

Again, thank you for all your help. I have tried changing
the two reed switches, I also tried pushing a coach over
those switches with some weight to try to make it "behave"
like a loco and the light still did not go out. I also tried
your suggestion of disconnecting the reed switch and finally
reconnected everything and, for the first time, all worked
perfectly. I don't know what I have done, other than what
you told me to do, but it does seem the problem is solved.
I trust it wont return. I am sorry not to have replied before
but work is the curse of the modelling classes! Thanks again
for your help.

Good morning.
On the contrary, your e-mail is very helpful and has given
me some food for thought. We have tried individual plug-in
supplies before but they are not tamper-proof.
To give you an example. We aked for a quote for 7 units
of benchtop trunking each housing 1 twin mains socket, 2
x 24V ac soldering iron outlets and 2 x 9V dc outlets, all
powered. This came to a little over £3000 not including
installation !!! I think that I can do better.Thank you
again for the infomation.

the package arrived on Friday August 3. All items were correct
and the system is now installed and running beautifully.
Over the next few weekends I'll put in the reed switches
for automatic functions. I'm having a break from working
and soldering under the railway for a while and will concentrate
on completion of some buildings and scenery.
Thanks again for all your efforts it is greatly appreciated.
